Hey! Firstly congratulations! How did you transition into product management? I am trying for the same and any help will be greatly appreciated.

Worked at an app based startup. Got involved in the product through manual testing and then things happened.

I’ve recently transitioned into a Product Manager role, coming from a non-engineering background with 2 years of experience outside of product. I don’t have a technical or coding background, so I understand how overwhelming the shift can feel initially. 14 LPA is decent for a new Product Manager, especially without a tech background.
But if you want to grow faster and increase your value, learning basic data skills (analytics, SQL) will help you stand out.
