Is 0.1% equity a good deal in an early-stage startup?
Hi, I got an offer from a very early stage startup which recently has seed funding round, they are giving me competitive base salary and apart from the base they are offering me 0.1% of the company's share. What do you think about the offer?

Very less equity imo, should be at least 1% if you're a core member/early hire

Its better to take it and have it than to not have it and ask for it later. Ask them if they can increase it or add to the equity after a certain number of years with them - that way your ownership increases in the company as time goes on.
Also ask them what profit sharing do you get with that equity and if you are able to sell the equity at the time of your resignation.
