• US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the strikes were enabled by coalition intelligence.
• The operation aimed to disrupt and degrade ISIS attack networks in Iraq.
• The US has 2,500 troops in Iraq and 900 in Syria, with the coalition mission in Iraq ending within a year.
• The coalition will continue operations in Syria until September 2026.
