Invision was trying to solve the same usecase as Figma even before Figma was in an idea stage. See where is Figma and where is Invision now

Figma just revolutionised the entire process. InVision couldn’t keep up.

i have worked as a designer, and saw the rise and fall of invision in front of my eyes. but never understood what was it for? They raised war-chest level funds, had sleek designs and color usage. but couldnt ever understand the utility it provided.

whatever it did, other tools did it for much cheaper, and without a lot of drumming.

can someone, who used InVision, tell me what i was missing on? maybe i was biased or something.
