Investment suggestions

Suggest any investment with 2-3lakhs . I wanted to know about farm lands is it good to invest in them for long term???

Please suggest only if you have true knowledge. I know asking some real estate people is good idea but I want from consumer prospective did anyone invested and is it beneficial or not for long term.

Or is it good to invest in gold for value appreciation.

Farm land or real estate is illiquid and hard to sell. Gold is much more liquid. Not really a good comparison of asset types.

You should also define what time frame you mean by long term. 5,10,15-20 years or more

I just want some solid asset I may not sell it also unless I get into troubles in futures.

Who will take care of the farm I've heard cases where neighbouring farmers have encroached, claiming this is also their farm due to inheritance.

Gold is up 70%. Further runway is less.
