Hi all , I have some 10 lacs of savings which I don't want to keep idle in the bank for obvious reasons, I need suggestions on where I can invest for the next couple of years with Medium risk involved. TIA.

Just FD it. Everything else is too random right now. No idea where it will move. Not even gold
As someone else suggested, find a bank that's doing >7% interest. Put 5L there and then about 2-3L in equity (MF) which is risky but take that as long term investment. FD you can break when your tenure is up.
Try corporate FDs, better than regular bank FDs.. gold will grow steady in the coming years so might as well as park some money in SGBs if you are not a fan of equity / MFs
Couple of year depends…if you can for 8 yrs…SGB seems best option.
