Start with small amount. Invest in blue chip stocks to begin with. Understand stock fundamentals ratios like p/e , roe , roce etc.
Screener.in has been great source for getting data for any stock. Check tickertape. Don't be greedy. There have been many many failures in stock market. Tread carefully. At the end of the day it's no rocket science.
