Interviewing for a company aquired by another bigger firm.

Hello,

I am just into an interview process with acompany recently aquired by another big firm. My interview is almost completed.

I am worried that if I am hired , and if the bigger firm will come to serving pink slips I may be first on the chopping block. Does that fear makes sense. I am not sure what to do.
