Internship Scams

I was interning with a logistics visibility company called FourKites. (SDE Intern) Joined in June 2023 and left in March 2024. They made us work like mules. As interns, we used to do same work as that of SDE-1 and SDE-2 . Bug fixes, working on features, automation , QA, everything we did for 25k stipend hoping that we would get PPO in the end. In March, they told us that only 6 out of 40 interns will be given PPO, rest all can fuck off by 31 may. I resigned the same day but still haven't gotten a single OA except for IBM and IBM didn't reply after the OA. I feel frustrated and lost.

Get you focus cleared, Internship is not for making money. That is for gaining knowledge and experience. After this you should be able to get a job and make some money. But you the real money you can make is by fully utilising you core knowledge and experience you've gained. Don't get disheartened. Life is bit long and you will have your better days.
