Trending @Cognizant; Internal Switch

I have been in Cognizant for 1.6 years as a fresher, got into project late. Into support right now, its been 5 months roughly on technology which is niche and not growth worthy. I want to switch to development like Java, Gen Ai, node js which I have worked on or have acquaintance. How should I work my way to finding internal projects related to it ? Because I think I am wasting my early years on support role.
