I have completed six months at Wipro and would like to change my project internally. I have applied for an internal position, but the hiring manager is requesting my reporting manager's acknowledgment via email. Can anyone help me figure out how to handle this situation?
Wipro managers, are very tough to deal with. They often involve HR in these cases to make you understand the 18 months policy. It is really hard, but not impossible to change your project. Just keep poking your current manager and disregard all excuses that he or she may give. One thing for sure, without your current manager's formal approval and setting you billable on PSP, you won't get tagged anywhere else. Better keep poking him.
