read this thread today and got to know how indian apps like swiggy, which list numerous unrelated apps (e.g. xbox, playstation, netflix) in their manifest files, obviously for user profiling, and how they all are putting every data together to sell it.

Android is a privacy nightmare. Some of the apps gonna continue using OS loopholes to their advantage as not all countries have rules which prohibit such privacy nightmare practices and dark patterns.
