Interesting Kendrick Lamar verse for today's gen
I was listening to this Kendrick track "Little Johnny" and it got me thinking... The message here is exactly what we as indians go through.
Replace "the black man" with Indians, and go over it.
We fight over the most trivial matters, religion, caste, language, region, gender. Instead of actually sticking up for one another as a entire nation, all we do is bring each other down.
When one of us does something great outside India, everyone wants to take credit for being indian. "Oh look, we have so many global CEOs that are Indian"
But when Indians abroad act like a disgrace, we don't want to claim them.
The point being made here is we all need to be intellectually independent to think for ourselves. This enables us to form better opinions, not get influenced with bs media, and that's when we can truly empathise with with each other, and what really will help us develop as a nation.
Sorry for this bs rant.
