I fell ill recently which costed me around 13k in total taking the hospital as well as medicinal expenses in account , can I claim it ?
Can I even claim my other 2k medical expense which happened in the same month.
How big should be the amount to claim and what is the process

Vidal is the portal there is a number call them, it's pathetic but that's the only way.
You can claim if you were hospitalized for a day minimum otherwise you cannot

If any blood tests involved, you can claim under "preventive health checkup". But you can claim upto 5k only.

If it’s outpatient then you can’t claim all 13K. But any tests can be claimed under 5K preventive checkups.
