Instructional design - need advice

I am currently working as a Record to Report accountant (Investment accounting). Completed MBA - Finance and Marketing in 2019.

Want to switch my career to instructional design and pursuing a course from Coursera on the same.

Can someone advise on how to switch the field?

I have a keen interest in learning and development. I have experience in training the new joiners on the process.
