Innovator vs IT Analyst
Hi folks,
I have my innovator challenge with pre-requisite pending.. Im currently system enginner.
I have cleared all the tracks with distinction only Tech track prerequisite and Innovator challenge is pending..
Best Case scnario is like
if i clear prerequisite in may cycle then I ll be eligible for Innovator challenge in november cycle.
baaed on the expertise and technical skills regarding T4 Django. Im sure I ll be clearing prerequise in this may cycle and innovator in nov cycle considering best case senario.
also I have complete 4 years in tcs.
So shall i ask for promotion or first shall i clear innovator then should go for promotion?
as I heart promotion hike will be depends on current ctc so im in a thought of clearing innovator then going for promotion ?
pls suggest on this situation taking best case and worst case scenario for getting maximum high.
I was in exactly same situation as you. What i did was ask for promotion and parallelly worked on clearing the innovator milestone. I got selected in innovator and 2 quarters later got ITA promotion.
It’s rare that they will promote you in the same quarter when you ask for it.(though it’s possible) So waiting to get into innovator and then asking for promotion might delay things .If you are okay waiting for promotion then clear the milestone first then ask for it. But remember until you get promoted your incentive will be subject to change based on band.
i am also in similar situation , i have cleared everything except process can you provide some tips? however i also need to change projects right after my grade is finalized.My manager told me that doing so might delay my promotion but i need to change projects am stuck here for too lomg

Best case scenario your package will be best after innovator and getting ita promotion..
Bad case scenario is that they will delay your promotion since ur package will already be high due to clearing innovator
Worst case scenario they can give C band and all will come back to ninja but if promoted to ita then it will not be band dependant. #This is very rare case, if u have dependancy then this is not will not happen.
