Innovator Path vs. Switching Companies
I’ve been with TCS for the past 3.5 years, working as an Angular developer, and I’m currently at a crossroads in my career. I’m on the verge of clearing the Innovator level, which could increase my salary from ₹8 LPA to around ₹11 LPA.
Now, I’m faced with a decision: Should I stay with TCS, clear the Innovator level, and continue growing within the company? Or would it be better to explore opportunities outside, possibly for higher compensation and new challenges?
I have cleared wings1 it will give you a hike of 2.2 lpa. If you have last two bands 2 A then you can request the ITA promotion(after becoming innovator) that will give another 15% hike. That will take your CTC to 12 and it will be permanent salary. Then switch. So you can negotiate better salary.
Try kro outside you will get more than 60-70% hike.
3.5 yrs angular dev can get lot more than 8Lpa and that too you have cleared wings 1 also. Start searching for companies and at the same time clear Innovator also. You can get a lot .
Innovator gives you a package of around 10.1 LPA plus passing exams any track is completely random , some get selected some get rejected randomly
I joined as Innovator and stuck on same salary after that currently looking to switch
