Trending @Infosys; Infy trying to retain with merely 15-20% hike

I got an offer from Capgemini for 80% hike, and fixed. Infy trying to retain by just giving 20% increment, which I am sure, they will delay for long.

That is not retaining if they are offering 20% whereas you already have 80%.

Don't think much, join Capgemini, you can come back again to Infy later but for now "navigate to your next".

Why are you thinking to switch then any relationship with Infy? This org don't even think about you when they are bad in numbers

Exactly I was hoping, they will try to retain, but they are not trying.

Why you are wishing to retain ? You don't need 80% hike & want to be infy only. In relationship with Infy or what

Hike is always given on the base salary on the actual CTC.

If you are having 12 LPA with a base salary of 40 000rs ,10% hike would be 4000 per month .

20% = 8k and so on.

While changing company it is always on the actual CTC .

If you would have salary like 50 LPA then would be giving this hike then fine but we all know they give very less CTC so even if you have like 15 LPA let's assume this so 20% of this would not even make sense just go for a switch

see... they're not trying.

How did you convince capgemini for 90 days notice period, i also got offer from capgemini but in the end they are asking me to join in 30 days

CosmicMarshmallow

Ask for the offer saying, notice period is negotiable, and try to negotiate with your current company. Then at the end of the offer, you can tell them that your company is not releasing you. Please provide updated offer for so and so date.

They are not ready to release offer letter unless my notice period is 30 days left

How can u manage a 90 day notice period please reply it's helpful for me and my friend

I initiated separation without any offer in hand. I updated my profile on Naukri, and LinkedIn to look out for job. You will get more calls when you are serving notice, and many more calls in a day when last working day is near.

Have faith, and prepare well. Learn from the interviews, and give your best in next.

It’s easy to say why you thinking, any relationship with infy or this is not the only company but see if you have some responsibility like a family is dependent on you only
Then everyone will think also will get self doubt if he could make it or not in new company as it’s everything going well here in infy except money

I am also in same situation have a good offer and still thinking to retain but no one knows what is the perfect decision so I’ll just go with whichever I feel good in sometime
