Infosys vs TCS. In what aspects is Infosys better than TCS? Simultaneously, how is TCS better than Infosys apart from ‘job security’?

Currently in NP. Got an offer from Infosys. The pay is pretty good. Keeping in mind the bad press the organisation has, in what aspects does it fair better & worse than TCS? I’m glad I at least don’t have to follow the shitty dress code L.

I joined the Infosys in 2022. Till the time I got only one time hike which is 5%. My rating is 4 out of 5.

Without a doubt TCS is far better as compare to Infosys. Below is reason.

  1. Variable pay you will get around 50-60%. But in tcs it will around 80%.
  2. Infosys offer you loan for 50k on 5% rate.
  3. Infosys noida and Gurgaon campus is hell. If you joning in these campus.
  4. Project is not too good. They have project for 5-6 months duration.
  5. If you are senior JL4 and JL5 then they will tag in 2-3 project same time. You need to work same time in 2 different project at least. This is because senior generally stay for max 1 year because no good hike and promotion.
  6. Apart from salary don’t have any perks.

please don’t compare with TCS. TCS is far far better than Infosys.

Infoys has a better work culture , better ethics , fair chance to all , mostly understanding. Let me give you a example, In Infosys , if you have a gap , they accept you , if you have a overlap with work and education (as long as you can prove it ) they will accept it , cause Infosys knows that life happens . On the other hand TCS is just living on brand value , no compassion , irrelevant expectations and no understanding if something is not ideal as per them

Not to mention , TCS infrastructure is just so subpar . Go to Infosys campus . Its so much better , you can have a nice cool walk in the wide campus , nature thrives there.

The only good thing about Infosys is the campus only ! 😂😂😂 No work life balance no hike on time no promotion on time nothing higher JL getting promotion on time and hike and lower JL are suffering even though they are deserving don't give feedback just on infrastructure want to have a cool walk go to garden !!

  1. Your experience will depend on the people you meet and project you get and its not in your hands.

  2. Infra is better than other companies. Pune campus is really good.

  3. Health insurance policy is not good.

  4. Flexible WFH policy. You can your from your nearest DC if project allows. 10 days a month mandatory now in most projects.

  5. Lots of internal courses and learning opportunities. Internal switches possible but lots of conditions need to be met.

  6. Pay will dissappoint. You'll start looking outside within a year.

  7. Many short term projects. (That's what I've heard). I was put in a project 6 months ago that is going to end soon.

  8. Rest you can consider same as other Service based companies. I came here an year ago from cognizant. I found cognizant to be better in all aspects except Infra. 😅

Choose TCS if you prioritize job security, work-life balance, and stability.
