Infosys vs Deloitte india

I have started my career at Infosys and was lucky enough to get a great manager, who stood by our team and even sometimes say no to clients for after hours/weekend activities as it was not part of contract. On the other hand I joined Deloitte india recently, here people think exhausting themselves and working late hours is a thing of honor, be it my senior colleagues or managers they have the same mentality.

And the biggest difference is how they approach client. At Infosys we can call managers or even client by their name, which makes us feel that we are same and can share anything without fear. But at Deloitte we have to call them 'sir' and 'ji' to clients and managers which makes you feel how small you are and living on clients money.

Now, I think i would go back to join Infosys even though if have to work for some extra hours, you will respected and appreciated.

This was my experience, let me know if anyone of you have felt the same.

Within Deloitte india, the culture varies a lot from offices. So it's hard to keep up with DI in some places.

I never seen any non-fresher employees calling their clients as sir or ji

Never called anyone in IT with ‘sir’ and ‘ji’ except for fresh out of college. Always used the first name, even for clients. Where is this? I work in Deloitte too.
