Infosys Update
I had my F2F(MR+HR) round on 13th September. In HR round she offered me 11.3 lpa package, and I asked whether there is a possibility of making it 13 lpa. She said that she will check with management and then I will be getting a call for final ctc discussion. Almost 40 days passed and no update. Whenever I am asking recruiter through mail, she says that she is seeking certain approvals. I haven't even got digiverifier mail till now. Any insights on this will be really helpful.
I've seen a situation where at every approval stage the approver was on a leave or traveling for work and hence delayed it. 40 days is too much. You gotta push some buttons depending on your risk appetite.
You can follow up by saying other companies are showing their interest in you and that you've been holding back till now waiting for the offer. If the offer isn't going to materialise you might as well interview.
Or you can say that you're in late stages of interviews with other companies since the offer is taking too long, and that if you get 13lpa from Infy you would sign and move on - interviews take too much time out of personal life.
Some might say that it's being passive aggressive but hey when you're acting that way they're taking you for a joyride. Put your foot down and see them act quickly.
