Infosys role offer
Hi guys, Infosys is offering me a consultant role where I feel I'll fit into a senior associate consultant. I'm not ready to lead a team right now. Could you please help me if this is possible.
It is based on project requirements and as a consultant your responsibilities will definitely be increased. Either you could be the individual contributor or few reporting will also come under you including your work.
I mean shall I ask the HR to downgrade one role to SAC
There is no such role , consultants are individual contributors equivalent to senior system engineers. Only a technical lead may lead a team but that is also too rare. Nowadays Managers are also not getting teams to lead. So just grab the offer.
In all the 3 rounds panelists were mentioning that I may need to lead a team with their deliverables. So wanted to clarify

Focus on salary ctc .. except project manager every one else is doing the same work and are working as individual contributors
