I went through one technical round and one managerial round at Infosys. After that, I received a call regarding the CTC. Although I wasn't fully satisfied, I accepted the offer.
The background verification process started, and I shared all the required documents. However, two days later, I received a call from HR informing me that I am not fit for the role. When I asked for feedback, they didnāt provide any explanation.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Cost cutting before even hiring
Either the need has been fulfilled by another candidate (or an internal one) or they had a rethink on the position or your background check did not come out clean. This could happen if you've had a bad exit in any of your previous employment

Arre don't think much about Infosys, they gave me an offer and good that I looked for another opportunity cause they delayed my joining by 1 week. When they told that joining is delayed I replied thank you I have joined a other organisation.
Without providing reason they withdraw offer letter and they expect people to join once they accepted offer letter what if he resign at current company ?
There is no wrong in looking for better opportunities when you are in notice period hence people don't feel guilty for offer shopping in notice period
