Infosys Recruitment Process: A Lack of Transparency?

Had a frustrating experience with the Infosys recruitment process. After clearing Technical and HR rounds, I completed the Background Verification (BGV) process, which verified my employment and PF details successfully.

Following some follow-up emails, the HR confirmed my employment over a call, stating my candidature had been approved and that an offer letter would be released soon.

However, out of nowhere, I was suddenly scheduled for a call with a manager. The next day, the HR called me again, only to inform me that the manager wasn't approving my candidacy.

This lack of transparency and unprofessionalism between the hiring team members is disappointing. It seems like a mere formality to reject candidates after approving their candidature and just before releasing the offer letter.

Wasted over a month in this process. Does anyone else face similar experiences with Infosys?
