I joined infy on June 2024, joined to project on July. Till now iam considered as bench employee, i asked manager many times about it she ignored, last week i got mapped into different project, i asked manager that whether can i leave to other pjt, she said you evaluate and take a call, but unfortunately that mapping got canceled next day. Now she has given me the option to stay here or leave. What i want to choose? I really don't like this work, i wanted a move. Bur i fear about sitting in bench and getting fired. Will they fire me if i sit in bench? Is it possible to explore opportunities that fit into me?
Instead of staying in the project as a bench resource. Better move to central pool. Many projects get renew in the new year, you may get opportunity. It would be better if you would have mentioned the skillset.
Manager said that she will get me project code if i stays. Iam currently working as business analyst in tax technology, i wanted to move to finance domain
Unfortunately you cannot move out of the project if she is trustworthy!! If you move out to central pool, you cannot guarantee that you will get project in finance domain. Rather stick here and get the role maturity and move through that.
You can move out if project is really pathetic
