Infosys offer letter

Hi All, Need your help and suggestion. I am a DevOps engineer with seven years of experience working in Tcs from last 3.5 years. I have got an offer from Infosys, but the hike which I was expecting that they are not giving. I am confused. What to do whether I should accept this offer or not, I got the similar offer from Accenture in June, which I rejected. Please suggest me what should I do ? Also due to 3 months of notice period in TCS, not getting enough calls also from last one year. should I accept the offer and do some offer hopping, or should I wait for other better opportunities as well? To give you more clarity, my current CTC is 12.7 lakhs per annum and the offer which they have given is 17 lakhs per annum? Of course, both the companies has variable pay included.

@HumbleEye - firstly very surprised TCS is paying you 12.7 LPA with 3.5 yoe. Trust me I have seen people in TCS with 7+ years of experience on 11 LPA.

Anyway, u r in a good position, i understand if they released offer letters then u have cleared interviews and you have good technical knowledge.

First thing to do - easy but worth it- show the previous offer to next hiring company and say I'm expecting 30% more than this.

If it doesn't work. Tell them you have few other companies for which u r waiting for offer letters but u really wanna join this company as it has so and so values (see their company website), write down and repeat them like parrot.

Convince them with reverse psychology, that is Memtion that u know 17 LPA I'm fine but if it was complete remote with WFH setup. But because this is a hybrid/in person injave to travel, spend a fortune on x, y, z.

Hence I believe it's fair to ask 80% hike.

If they still don't listen, they don't deserve u, another company apply, another company offer, another negotiation.

One final suggestion, ask chatgpt to give u list of less known companies but which are gaining momentum in market with AI. Applynthere, trust me competition very low in less known companies. Most (85% ) people target only knows ones like top 20 product, 20 service, there are many many other companies who are worth looking into

Go for it.. No other company will wait for 3 months and as u add more exp. it will become more difficult.. Whats stopping u to move out?

Nothing stopping me..Just few concern on leave part which is only 15 day per annum during probation and 20 days per annum after probation ends..Also the main concern is Salary hike

Go for it man. Of course you can still offer shopping, you may get another good opportunity in your notice days as well..
