I have 16.5 Years of experience. I am getting a lead consultant role offer from Infosys. Is it a good role for my years of experience? Is it equivalent to a Manager or Senior manager (hierarchy wise) ?

Lead consultant is 6B. That's equivalent to Manager. 6A would be principal consultant equivalent to senior manager. With your yoe, you could go for 6A. 6B to 6A promotion does not come with increase in compensation
