I am a Principal Consultant at Oracle having 4.5 years of experience but while switching to Infosys I am being offered Consultant role which is 5B as per what HR mentioned..
Could you please let me know what experience does usually 5B consultant in infosys has and what is pay package?

Don't be in a nightmare that Oracle is in the league of faang companies. Remember you're a consultant here not a product engineer. Switching to a service based company does make sense and go ahead with the offer if it is more than 45% of your current CTC.
Now I see someone really talking rather just saying don't go to service based company.. One need to understand the role I am working on. I am not working as software engineer or at pure coding job that I have got many options. My options are limited when you segregate between product and service based companies.

I think you should reach out to ( Infosys - consultant - level 5B ) on LinkedIn. Generally these roles are filled by laterals. I am an ACON - 4B here at Infosys, it would take me around 5yrs. of Work ex to be at 5B level (if everything goes right..)
This level also marks the starting point/position for many tier-1 MBA students. I don't know about the pay packages.
