Infosys Associate Consultant
Hey folks,
What is the salary band for Infosys Associate Consultant 4B?
My cctc is 10LPA(7.5 fix + 25%variable + other perks)
I was interviewed for the role of Senior Associate Consultant 4A.
In the HR round they said I'm short of 2 months even after considering notice period we are considering you for Associate Consultant.
My expectations were atleast 15LPA but they said for 4b our budget cap is 10.72LPA(90% fix + 10% variable)
That's not even 10% hike there overall.
I'm frustrated because I have mentioned everything during the applications my cctc, ectc, education, gap as freelancing, literally everything with supporting documents. What did they do during screening?
All of a sudden, after taking those 1.5hr long exhausting interviews(each) they want me to settle for Associate role, i mean i can but with not even 20% hike? Uh uh nah
I certainly didn't expected this considering my ctc. Is this happening with everyone or is it just me?
I even used chatgpt to negotiate over the call for higher salary, it didn't worked.
How would you recommended to proceed further?
Thanks in advance.

By the way I'm 2022 grad and started my job at Accenture in 2023 for which my yoe is 2.7 till date. And 6 months of career gap shown/portrayed as freelancing.

Update:
I've asked HR to raise the ctc to atleast 13lpa she said " you have two options either you accept it or reject it" later upon requesting she said "since you're not comfortable with this we'll send your candidature to different business unit and will let u know. "
Guess what?
Now I've a got mail saying "I'm rejected".
