So our project made us install this software, which tracks your activity on the laptop. Basically whether you're working on VDI, sitting idle, using Teams/Outlook, reading any documents or browsing..
What's up with this level of micromanagement?And the warnings that you have to be active, for at least 8 hours, on VDI otherwise get offboarded from the project and answer the DU for non-compliance??!!

I am not sure if I can reveal the name. But it's one of the major banks. It's not something new here, got to know from a lot of people working from last year that it has been the norm and a lot of people were offboarded for non-compliance. They were sent emails from DU head with HR in cc.
Nothing new, common across many accounts.
