Info about TCS policy
Hi guys, Recently i worked on AI chatbot for incident impressed by my work my lead suggested me to one of his friend who is starting a Startup in US and want me to code for their AI model and basically train it .So i am thinking is there any policy which prevents me from doing this work?it’s unpaid work basically i will be volunteering my own time neither will i use company resource or laptop?so it anyhow impact my full time job in tcs?
Don't use tcs laptop. You can do freelance stuff in your own laptop.
You may face issues only if someone reports you or a legal action is initiated when: -if startup is direct competitor of TCS client you work for. (Conflict of interest) -if you get compensated in future for your work.
Since its volunteering, it’s okay but be careful.
There is no issue.. I'm doing freelancing from last few years.. no issue..
Even I took payment in my account every month..
Only thing don't use tcs laptop..
