Indigo provides options for women to sit along with fellow women passenger

They are rolling it out gradually: https://www.cnbc.com/2024/08/07/indigo-allows-women-to-avoid-booking-seats-next-to-men-on-flights.html

While this is certainly a nice step, a person thought it would be good to launch a similar feature for Men as well where they can sit next to each other.

Do you agree with him or think it's a horrible idea?

Also what do you think about the original idea of Indigo providing this option to Women?

When you share your thoughts if possible share your gender as well so that people can understand the perspectives better.

I can understand and feel your pain.

But I always try to think from those kids' parents perspective and also think that in future I might be a parent of such a kid.

I hope it will help you next time.

The reasoning behind wanting such a service for men and women couldn’t be more stark and bizarre. Women want it to prevent themselves from harassment and SA while on the other hand my fellow men want it because they aren’t comfortable saying “excuse me” and “sorry” 😂😂

Dekho, the end goal is convenience. You can argue is terms which are more relevant to the other person, you get a sympathetic ear. People argue for freedom when if you look closely all they want is convenience.

If someone is telling an actual truth with no pretexts or emotive language, you should admire that rather than mock it.

The need is not gonna change. The reasons they want it will based on the sensitivities of others. This is intentionally humorous obv. You make the reason more on the lines of safety and people will agree.

School ki tarah kardo, one row boys one row girls, aur fir only boys flights and only girls flights.

It's good actually. The seats are quite small for a big person and sometimes it becomes an inconvenience for both men and women. And they have just given option and not made a mandatory rule as such. I remember there was a huge fight on spicejet long back when a women complained that a man touched her. Now no one can say if it was by mistake or intentional. They all started fighting and no one was ready to change their seat.

finally someone said it. we don't have to support women friendly policies all the time. Seems like there is a shortage of "real men" where all trying to become feminist to woo them

Just reserve seats for women like a few rows, this is BS not sitting next to men... It will lead to vacant seats and affect ticket prices

This is anti-lgbtq. What if transgender is comfortable sitting only with women? What about people with fluid gender identities?
