India's biggest problem?

If only an able and deserving person with true determination becomes a dictator of our country. Such as the likes of Lee Kuan Yew or Park Chung Hee or Deng or Xi

Man same opinion I had for a long time.

If history taught us anything, the first person in dictator’s dynasty is not really a problem. First few generations always work on establishing, expanding and stabilising their state. It is the later generations that are the problem. They become entitled self centred corrupt monsters that don’t give a shit about their subjects.

Over-Population coupled with poverty.
Most other issues originate from these two.
Bureaucracy, starting from lowest govt official to top. Everyone is milord.
Also interest groups which don't allow reforms

People with bad memory and facing quick money over their bright future

All of the above

Bureaucrats don't have their skin in the development of the nation. So, no one cares about development of nation. Personally, I don't think politician have much role rather than bringing pain points of the society.
Sample:
Their children till age 18 can only study in govt schools.
They can only use govt hospitals.
They/their spouse/children/parents/blood relatives can't take foreign citizenship.

Colonial past has nothing to do with it. India is already past that phase, it is just being brought up so that scars dont heal. It is only Indians who are to be blamed. So chill.

democracy bro democracy. I'm done with the protests and bs. the people are taking democracy for granted they don't want to sacrifice.

All things are problem
I chose other even though you should have had all of the above as an option
