The ego is bruised. Sam Altman's response was logical, comparing $10 million to $100 million. Even if they hire 2.5 LPA engineers, we still need GPUs, etc. Seven months after Gpt's launch, Google is still unable to compete.

Still can't wrap my head around the fact that some startup even though well funded and known comes out and dominates the worlds foremost AI company whose CEO adds AI to every third word spoken from his mouth and has a legion of smart and overpaid moonlighters.

Honestly it wasn’t a bad question. For a VC, asking a general question where Sam could have given broader guidance to upcoming founders vs. something technical made sense
