Indian railways infra

Do you think the infrastructure of indian railways has improved over the last 10 years or so? My observation on the same:

General compartments have been reduced or stayed same , leading to even more issues in that bogeys.
Govt has introduced vande bharat trains, but for limited routes only.
I feel long distance routes for eg north india to south india travel , etc . have stayed the same, leading to even more waitlisting.
Have seen people complaining about waitlisting during diwali holidays, but isn’t it the responsibility of the state to provide enough trains for travel.
Yes flights have become more affordable, and more frequent but still costly for some folks.

It has certainly improved in all areas. Train quality, station quality even food quality. But the dehati kahini thookiyas are still the same. They make things worse.
For vote bank politics the government like all previous governments are mollycuddling these dehati idiots.

Unless these idiots are punished, no improvement will ever last.
