Why didn’t the government do it when Dream 11 was sponsoring the Indian Cricket Team? Why didn’t they act then?
This is just their attempt to inflate their GST revenue to show “we are bringing laws to increase tax for the better of society” but there are bigger problems at play that nobody is batting an eye on.
There is a way to regulate betting and there is a way to regulate an industry. This isn’t it.

I think the govt should be consistent, one day you are saying that betting is fine and suddenly after 2 years you pretend like it is the worst thing on the planet. This makes starting up even more unpredictable than it already is.
