During appraisals, both the companies give a 5% hike to their employees.
Due to this Prashant resigned from TCS and Amit resigned from infosys.
Prashant joined infosys and get a 30% hike and Amit joined TCS and get 30% hike.
One more good thing is Prashant and Amit are brothers, so their family income raised.

That's how world & business run. Otherwise who will care about HR, Also if company gives 15% hike, then we will rarely think and work to get about 35% hike. Actually it's a win win situations for all. Tcs & infosys people will get experienced people without investing on any training & time.
HR doesn't care about the giving 30% hike, they will happily give, once he cleared the interview.
HR & management only think and worry about giving hike to each & every employee, as it will immediately and directly impact in next month and qtr Balance sheet & Profit and loss statement

Also management knows, even after giving 4-5% hike, only few % of people will able to leave the company, not everyone will leave because of many factors like, few don't want to leave their comfort zone, few don't have good skill to crack the interview, few don't don't want to leave onsite, few people not want to leave their location, few don't want to take risk, to leave company like tcs, where job security is given more value than 30% hike, like that there are so many factors, because of that companies are taking advantages of the situations and not think about to give good hike to everyone.
