Indian corporate is more challenging on personal front rather than the technical front

This is a casual rant and I don’t want any woke MF’s telling me randi rona bandh karo aur switch karo in the comments.

Coming to the topic, I feel that Indian Corporate is so fucked up and has normalised politics and manipulation so much. The proof is all the idiots who don’t even know how to scan a page taking higher salaries and sitting in manager positions with zero knowledge whatsoever. While the resources working under them are casually manipulated because they are working for a survival and can’t leave the jobs. Either the person will be getting over worked for doing good work, or he will be getting cornered and targeted due to office politics, he will be assigned some random works and finally the boot lickers will get a higher rating than him during appraisals. coming to a woman, she will either be harrassed sexually, or will be offered less pay because she is a woman, if she maintains her boundaries, she will just be called a bitch.

I have mentioned very few here but there are many more issues which I feel have made Indian corporate culture intolerable. My question is, if we flee to some other country to escape this, will it be the same? Or will it change? I don’t know about other countries other than US. But in India, the fact that people look at you as “dumb” because you’re good at heart and don’t entertain this bs and the “smart” ones are people who lick their managers asses and rat their colleagues out.

I’m saying this because I was telling my mom about how I’m facing such issues constantly from one or the person and my mom said you should be “smart” enough to manage these issues. 🙂
