India Urges US to Act Against Khalistani Group

• Defence Minister Rajnath Singh raised concerns to US DNI Tulsi Gabbard about the activities of the Khalistani separatist group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) in the US.
• Singh requested the US to designate SFJ as a terrorist entity, citing its links with Pakistan's ISI and collaboration with Babbar Khalsa.
• The meeting focused on strategic security and enhancing defence cooperation between India and the US, including military exercises and information-sharing.
• External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also met Gabbard to discuss global and regional security challenges and boost collaboration in defence technologies.
• Gabbard's visit included meetings with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and participation in the Raisina Dialogue conclave.
