India is nowhere to be found in the AI race but I fell there’s a way to fix it

For context, AI wrappers as a market are bigger than foundational LLMs. India has all the talent to build these wrappers, but what we lack is monetization and distribution.

I've personally helped founders (who are college kids in US, Vietnam) with their distribution and the SECRET is organic TikTok.

Maybe it’s a good thing TikTok is banned in India, because it’s become a goldmine with the kind of high-quality traffic it has. Billion-dollar companies are being built just through organic TikTok.

So the new formula has to be: “Build in India, Sell in the US”

A few who know this are already doing a great job. For example, the Unacademy founders launched Airlearn last year using this exact strategy…they’ve hit $2M in ARR with no paid ads, all in just a year.

If you're a founder or builder who wants to market your consumer app in the US, HMU on chat

This is true and you've connected it perfectly. In India if want to build consumer saas youll need VC funding because monetisation is either freemium or via ads for which you'll need to burn shit ton of money to get those customers

Exactly. Therefore builders in US are focusing on being profitable from Day 1 with super niche ideas and paywalls instead of begging VCs for money
