Trending @Accenture; Increment eligibility?

My manager told me that you are not eligible for increment as i came here after switch and not completed 1 here in Accenture . I joined in april 2024 and in march they will select people for increment but as in april i will complete one year so according to him i am not eligible Is it correct or not?
