Income Tax Proof Submission

Context - India

It is that time of the year again, when organizations ask for investment proofs. Just like the IT department has all our info on what mutual funds/FDs etc we sold in the year and their pending TAXES, why can't they consolidate all our info - say from home loan guys, health insurance guys, NPS etc etc. Each one of them has our PAN. Verifying already collected info is far easier than fetching docs, uploading docs and then figuring out non user friendly softwares, which can't accept multiple PDFs...so u consolidate those PDFs outside office network and send them to official records. End up wasting 10 hrs each year which I absolutely loathe...only to save my (and my SO's) own hard earned money.

Is there an app/software which can be done to simplify the digital paperwork? Anyone thinking on these lines?

P.S. Not sure if the old income tax regime will even exist post Apr 2025... And we are taxed even more! What a life... Work 3-4 months for the govt out of 12, the other 3-4 for indirect taxes (or maybe more) and the remaining for your family....if there is something left....
