Can anybody provide information on how using meal card option of ₹26,400 (2200/month) help in reducing taxable salary. I took it last year but form 16 doesn't mention about meal card in exemptions

Food orders only - zomato Swiggy etc. Grocery not supported with our meal card

Amount credited to meal card won’t be a part for of your payslip or Form 16. The company doesn’t show it as part of your salary and hence you save tax on it.
