Included in fluidty list need help
Yesterday, I received a call from HR and RMG for a meeting. During the meeting, they informed me that I am on the layoff list. I joined TCS in June and was allocated to two projects during this period. However, on July 23, they revoked my allocation after that an account blocked my profile through RMG. My block was only released two days ago, and during this entire period, I didn't receive any project calls.
HR mentioned that this is unfortunate, especially since I am a new joiner, and they are actively checking why I have been included in this list, given that I haven't even worked on a single project.
This situation is extremely frustrating for me. If I start looking for other opportunities, having only two months in my current role will likely affect my chances. It's disappointing to see how TCS is treating its employees in this manner.

What should I do. will they remove my name from list since I recently joined. Any one have similar experience like recently joined and got mail?
They are terminating releasing as per their fucking mood. 2500000 500000 does not give a guarantee. They are useless now. Sad part is there is no offer as of now.
Correct. They are just haphazardly doing and don't think about long term consequences.
I heard that they are bringing back the count to before COVID employee count. Overall 30% layoff. Not sure so from 5.6 lakh emp to 4.3 lkh employee and recruiting freshers to get adapted

Management is not checking anyone's joining date.. any less performer or anyone in bench with high salary will be layoff. -

Your selection in the list is not accidental. Since you joined as a lateral I suppose your package must be very high. So they targeted you. It is very unfortunate. I was pursuing Wings2 for a better pay. I stopped because of this uncertainty.

Anything and everything can be criteria ... there are Buch of BPO employees whom they cannot sack becoz of ultra cheap labour costs... they are deployed to IT projects as testers and then functional consultants, HR, Admin folks.
Also hearing they are getting away with fluidity list ... some high up meeting has happened ... do not believe me yet.
The way TCS has conducted, other companies should stop giving any projects to them ... they have spoiled the whole IT industry with unethical practices ... very cheap rates, deploying non IT background folks to IT projects, no salary increments for years/decades, etc

Sorry to hear bro, but don't fall for TCS fake promises. Hopefully they remove your name from the list, but I'd recommend start your job search actively.
