“In PM interviews there’s no right answer”
My question is to the folks who are actively interviewing right now or senior managers/directors who take interviews in this space.
While preparing, how do I validate that my approach is correct or not and if I am arriving at decent enough - acceptable answer or not? And the YouTube videos are not helpful or outdated at this point.
Because if only the approach matters - there are some interviews where the feedback ends up being the solution could have been better, even though through the interview, I would have followed the exact approach or the way of PM is supposed to approach a problem.

You cannot validate your approach, because as you said, there is no one unique valid or invalid approach.
They are not looking for people who can give their pet approach. They are looking for people who can see multiple different approaches and can explain the tradeoffs and advantages & disadvantages of each approach.
And then describe the different external forces & situations at play, which will determine in which each of those approaches becomes the valid choice
