They are randomly picking up who are in bench for more than 3 months and RMG's are giving remainder mail to meet them in personal. If the employee fail to meet or take up any project they are doing forcibly resignations with condition like "If you do self resign it would be good or you will have 10 days of time and we will terminate you". They are randomly picking up people it was varying based on unit wise, HR wise and allocation wise. By the way @ProfessorSnape you can check with friends from Hyd as well and ask whether the resignations are happening in Adibatla location or not then you will get clarity and no admin need to review/approve
There is nothing much to say. After receiving RMG remainders, while discussion They will ask how long you have been on the bench, how many project calls you have rejected, and that you have not maintained minimum working hours in the office. Then, they will send a self-resignation email from your laptop, stating that you are resigning due to personal reasons. They will give you a deadline of about 1 week or 10 days to find a project. If you don’t get one within that time, they will proceed with the resignation process.

It is also happening on Varanasi and lucknow location.
But here is one more fact HR give only 48 hour to take decision Are you going to resign or we terminate you ?
If you didn't resign they will revoke access for ultimatix and email and put on stop pay.
We people are from tcs think they are in job secure company, they will regret in next in couple of years.
Oh 48 hours😳 here they are giving 7-10 days time...! On one side they are laying offs and on the other side I am unsure why they are again recruiting 42000 new people into the company?
TCS is a big company to get project in 10 days time.All people who are not accepting project after 3 months must be terminated and blacklisted too. Why would I work day and night and get reduced variable pay so that these people get paid being on bench? If I am on Bench for 3 months fire me too.
Is it for 10+ years exp. resources also ?
I am unsure for 10years of experience candidates because as far as I know here they are picking Freshers Y, C1Y, C1 based on bench period. It varies for specific units as well, like some units bench people in Hyd doesn't face this issue and people in few units rmgs are picking up and resignations are happening on. On the deeper level what units are involved is still a question.
@ProfessorSnape As of now I wasnt into this but by the month end I will be on bench so getting awareness to prepare myself mentally for unexpected situations here...!
Those who are njoying the benefits of bench, just sitting and not doing anything are the targets and it's happening in delhi/ncr also, i have heard of salary suspension not sure about termination
Have some context or add more context into it. You can't expect to be on the bench forever. It's not now, it's forever process of asking employee to leave if they are not getting any or ready to take up a project.
Too late, I was never on bench for my 9 years there and always had this feeling that I am fool to work for other bench employees and that was one of the reasons to leave the job
