Important query
lam having one query... I had completed 6 years in TCS but still in C1 grade, and cleared the digital in November but this time i got C band, and was released from the project which i was working from past 6 years all of sudden.
My question is can i get promoted to C2 even if i have C band, as iam having 6 years..
If so will my CTC of wings1 becomes permanent..?
Don't worry, no one can force you to resign , just find another project as soon as possible with your good skill sets , the people already in the bench for a long period for an onsite opportunity, just up to date yourself , be confident , I have been here last 9 years and project will go and come, you will not get promoted this year but once you get another project work hard and next year you will definitely get chance for promotion, it's all about your manager
This is insane. You become eligible for promotion from C1 to C2 when you complete 4 years. But if you are performing well, manager can nominate you after completing 3 years in same grade.
Now, I'm pretty much sure your manager must have got a promotion for not giving you the promotion. Cheap tricks in TCS management. Please wake up and look out for better opportunities out in the market because you leave now or you never leave.
Dont worry .. there could be a 100 reasons to relase a person.. may be auditing issues , project wants to cut down , change of technology.. Just keep working on your self and dont panic and believe any rumours.
