I was doing my personal csv file work in laptop and when i was tried to send it on my email using gmail, I got the warning message on my laptop screen so i quit the process and didn't send anything outside. But today i got the data breach email where all india and American leads are in cc.
I already provided my justification and proofs that the file has been not sent and deleted from my system
Do you guys suggest something on the process.
Your lead and project manager should back you up, something similar happened with my colleague he was trying to upload a word doc and code file to upgrad or similar platform he got similar mail but project manager backed him up.
On safer side do not open any personal mail account or any personal accounts on accenture laptop. If you want to send any documents to your other devices you can mail it yourself and write reason in mail so you don't forget why you sent it
Yeah i have given the justification for all the things in email, but my manager and lead are not supporting they just simply said that only the IT team can check the incidents and they will let us know about the result 😶
Yeah that csv contains my personal contacts details only.... that's it and expect that i didn't perform any thing also when i got that warning screen i instantly quit and close everything and remove the file also
