Trending @Wipro; Impact of new H-1B visa changes on Wipro and onsite roles
Hi all, with the recent changes in the US H-1B visa policy and the new fee structure, what impact do you think this will have on Wipro? Especially for those of us who are working onsite in the US or planning to travel there. Will this affect project allocations, onsite opportunities, or overall costs for the company?

I would like to get some awareness on moving abroad process through Wipro. It is for any specific bands or position. Whats the basic basic that can be considered. And what about the support team? Will they even be considered
There is no process as such. It's random. If there is requirement and you are available then it's easier.
I guess , now we have clarity on the new Tab will be applicable on the people applying new H1B process from India only, So travelling to US in coming days till Trump is there would be impossible for Indians. And companies like wipro will not be sponsoring new H1B till the fees comes back to normal.
Trump just ate our next years hike as well, no point in staying now
