Impact of band on CTC

In TCS, if we get a C or D band then is there any negative impact on our CTC. Like will we get a negative hike which will decrease our CTC?

C & D band means you'll not be eligible for promotion

Corporate has set promotion criteria - needs prev 3 cycles A or B bands

If we get a C band there's a chance we'd get a 0-2.5% hike. But for D band it'll be -50k from CTC. Heard from people who got D band last year.
